Very much looking forward to the upcoming Workshop this Saturday 20th August in Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin. I will be discussing how many of the Monasteries were so important in establishing the Physic Gardens where medicinal herbs were cultivated and so much important learning was established. The Physic Garden in St. Anne’s Park in Dublin (see below) is a lovely example on a small scale of what a Physic Garden would have looked like. I will also discuss the traditional uses of many of the herbs grown in these gardens for treating illness and keeping communities well. The event is fully booked, great to have such a high level of interest from the public.
